This carrier is machined from Mil-Spec 8620 steel.
The BCG is precision ground and will perform for tens of thousands of rounds. Grinding the outside dimensions and ALL three interior dimensions of these carriers, give these BCGs a near frictionless surface finish.
The Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating is harder and slicker than nitride, improving function, reliability and longevity. Its slick, hard surface makes for easier cleaning.
