PAMAX Space Tape – A High-Temp Cloth Wrap
Literally made for the Space program this Space Tape is now available for small arms. With a melt point of 3000 degrees Fahrenheit this cloth tape creates serious gains in insulation compared to other brands suppressor covers or heat resistant tapes.

Also ideal for grip points on handguards to prevent burns to operators hands.
Key Specs:
2" wide x 4 ft long strip.
Fiber, woven, uncoated, no adhesive.
Areal weight: 1.41 oz. or 39.9 gr.
Pre-shrunk (<4% shrinkage)
Melting point: ~3,000°F (1,650°C)
Primary Use: Spiral-wrap your handguard to create a custom thermal barrier. This insulates optics, lasers, lights, and other rail-mounted electronics from rapid heat buildup during suppressed or high-volume fire.
Additional Applications:
Belt-fed firearms (M249/M240/Lima 6/Fitelight) – wrap handguards or heat-prone areas to protect electronics and reduce operator discomfort.
Suppressor wraps – provides an extreme-heat outer layer to cut mirage and protect the can.
Wrap the Space Tape around your object first for heat protection, then overlay with your choice of camo tape (e.g., Krylon, camo vinyl, or fabric tape) to match your rifle’s color profile or achieve full camouflage.
Edges may fray slightly (slit construction).
